For Fuorisalone 2022, YOOX launched Multi Form, a collective reflection on space through art and design. On this occasion we designed Floating Room, an interactive installation where visitors could draw together in real time — an open platform for shared expression and spatial play.
The installation invited participation without instruction. Through a simple mobile interface, visitors could draw on their phones and see their gestures instantly translated onto the large screen. Individual inputs merged into a collective composition, dissolving authorship into a fluid choreography of marks.
Forms drifted like bodies underwater, swelling and folding with slow, elastic continuity. Their transparent skins overlap and refract light, blending like liquid membranes. Each contact releases a soft ripple, as if the whole surface were moved by a single submerged current.
