Industream, born in conversation with Andrea Caputo and Invernomuto, is a path made up of images, sounds, videos and products in an attempt to dissect the complex process that transforms an apparently inert substance into a living, pulsating reality.

We designed a normograph as a metaphor for industrial production. Typically a tool for tracing precise shapes, the normograph becames here a symbolic and functional object: a means to generate meaning through repetition, guidance, and structured design. The normograph doesn’t just represent the industrial process, it embodies it.

Just as in manufacturing, each gesture made with the tool contributes to a coherent system of signs and output. This graphic device was then integrated across every touchpoint of the installation: from 3D visuals and printed assets, to invitations and communication materials, including a paper version as a tactile giveaway.

At the entrance of the exhibition, an oversized physical reproduction of the normograph welcomed visitors, transforming the symbolic into spatial presence. With Industream, the tool becomes the message.
