As a Design Intern at Giga, you will join the studio as part of the design team, working on real projects alongside senior designers, project managers and developers.
This internship is conceived as a learning-by-doing experience: you will be exposed to the full lifecycle of projects, from early exploration to execution and delivery.

At Giga, design is a tool for understanding problems and constructing meaning. During the internship, you will learn how design decisions emerge from constraints, strategy, cultural context and technical realities – not from surface aesthetics alone.

Curiosity and a willingness to learn are essential. Precision is a given. We expect care, clarity and responsibility in everyday work, together with a proactive attitude in approaching tasks, questions and problems. You will be encouraged to ask questions, test ideas and experiment within real constraints, gradually taking ownership of specific tasks and components within ongoing projects.

What you will do

• Support the design team across different phases of active projects
• Contribute to visual exploration, references, layouts and system components
• Translate briefs, constraints and feedback into concrete design outputs
• Participate in internal reviews, discussions and feedback sessions
• Collaborate with designers, developers and project managers on real client work
• Learn how design systems and narratives are built, tested and maintained
• Take responsibility for assigned tasks, ensuring clarity, consistency and follow-through

What we are looking for

• A strong interest in graphic design, digital design or visual systems
• Curiosity about design, technology and contemporary culture
• Solid attention to detail and precision in execution
• A proactive mindset and openness to feedback and iteration
• A solid familiarity with design tools (Figma, Adobe CC or similar)
• Ability to explain your reasoning and decisions, even in early-stage work
